What We Believe

  • We believe that the Bible in its original content, all 66 books both Old and New Testament was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,

    • …and that the Bible has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct,

    • …and the Bible in its original form is the inerrant infallible source of divine revelation

  • We believe there is only one God, who is the creator, and sustainer, of all that is; Whom is holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in the loving unity of three equally divine persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; eternal, omnipotent, omnipresence, omniscience, sovereign and who has purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, truly God and truly man. In His incarnation, He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, as a substitutionary sacrifice. And that on the third day He arose from the dead and He is now at the right hand of the Father on high as our Great High Priest.

    • We further believe that He will come again to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace.

  • We believe that The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, a person not a force, co-equal with the Father and the Son, eternal not created. Sent by the Father at the request of the Son to indwell, guide, teach, and empower the believer, and to convict the world, of sin, righteousness, and of judgment.

  • We believe that man was originally created in the image and likeness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death.

    • We further believe that all men are born with a sinful nature, and are thereby separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that salvation is a gift of God received by Faith Alone, in Christ Alone, and is expressed in the individual’s repentance, and the recognition of the death of Christ as full payment for sin, and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord and God.

  • We believe that just as Heaven is the place of eternal bliss for the elect; that hell is an eternal, unquenchable place of eternal shame and everlasting contempt, a place where the fire is not quenched which the Father has set aside for the fallen angels and those that die under the wrath of God
